Dr. Hjelm is a Board-Certified Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Hjelm completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University and Nemours Children's Hospitals. He received additional training in Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Hjelm has authored numerous articles and textbook chapters in peer-reviewed medical literature. He has also spoken and presented various times at both Facial Plastic and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery conferences.

Dr. Hjelm has special interest and expertise in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery - Aesthetic and Reconstructive. His practice also includes all aspects of general otolaryngology for both adults and children.

Dr. Hjelm is originally from the Philadelphia area and currently resides in South Jersey with his family. His hobbies include composing/playing/watching music, the outdoors, and supporting Philadelphia sports.
