Dr. Scott Schaffer is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery and The American College of Surgeons. Prior to founding The ENT Specialty Center, Dr. Schaffer served as head of the section of otolaryngology at Cooper University Hospital, where he was also president of the medical staff and a member of the board of trustees. After graduating from The Medical College of Pennsylvania, he completed his otolaryngology residency at Temple University Hospital and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Dr. Schaffer has been repeatedly honored as a "Top Doc" in Philadelphia Magazine, New Jersey Monthly Magazine, SJ Magazine, South Jersey Magazine, and by the Consumers' Research Council.

Dr. Schaffer has earned a reputation for recognizing disease patterns that may not be identified by other health care providers. He is also known for making complex medical issues accessible to patients, their families, and the media-often using his art and photography to explain complicated problems, as well as technical procedures such as endoscopic and robotic surgery. While Dr. Schaffer takes pride in helping patients of any age, he is particularly skilled at performing delicate surgeries on newborns and toddlers.

Dr. Schaffer's areas of clinical expertise and special interests include nose and sinus diseases, snoring and sleep apnea, hearing loss, dizziness and tinnitus, and swallowing and voice problems.
