When patients have recurrent ear pain, infections, or infections that do not respond to medication, in-office procedures or surgery may be a patient’s best option for effective long-term treatment. Surgical intervention might include ear tubes or eustachian tube surgery to ventilate the middle ear space. These surgeries are performed under general or local anesthesia and aim to clear infections, repair damaged structures, and prevent recurrent infections. Hearing evaluations, completed at our office, before and after surgery confirm successful treatment.

Our practice also screens patients for hearing loss who may not be aware of the significance of their hearing loss. Vertigo is the sensation of spinning or dizziness often caused by issues in the inner ear. It causes patients to be unable to perform their everyday tasks and responsibilities. Our doctors at Advocare ENT Specialty center are trained to diagnose and treat patients suffering from this debilitating condition. Treatment options for vertigo can include vestibular rehabilitation exercises aimed at improving balance and reducing dizziness, medications to alleviate symptoms, and in some cases, procedures like canalith repositioning maneuvers (such as the Epley maneuver) to reposition displaced inner ear crystals that cause vertigo. Additionally, treatments might involve addressing underlying conditions like Meniere's disease or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) through dietary changes, medication, or surgical interventions in severe cases.
